Seattle’s sustainability professionals ditched their jeans and fleece for a night of suits, cocktail dresses and scotch as Seattle Business Magazine honored 50 companies that are setting the bar higher on corporate sustainability. Scope 5 won the Silver award for the tech category. Congratulations to the winner of the tech category, 3Tier, and the other eight finalists which included Microsoft. We’re honored to be in the company of such great organizations and to continue learning from them how they use sustainability data to drive practical money and resource saving initiatives in their organizations. We heard inspiring stories from Alaska Airlines, Virginia Mason, Precor, Starbucks, MacDonald Miller, University of Washington, the Miller Hull Partnership, T-Mobile and Car2Go just to name a few.
