Scope 5 was inspired by one central question: How can we live and work more sustainably?
During a long sailing trip, Scope 5 co-founder Yoram Bernet mused about how he could leave a better world for his two young sons. Turning to his business experience, he wondered what could be achieved if directors and executives were asking: How can business be more sustainable and more successful?
Yoram knew the answers were abundantly available. By tracking emissions and sustainability data and revealing opportunities for better resource use, any business can drive valuable action.
Scope 5 was born. Now companies and organizations of all sizes use Scope 5 sustainability data management solutions to get powerful answers that save time and money in ways that are good for the planet.
Yoram draws on his technical engineering skills from a 20-year career at AT&T, Bell Labs, and Microsoft. Scope 5 was inspired in part by his experience creating the first calculator that stores a snapshot of a homeowner’s emission profile and tracks it over time. Yoram enjoys hiking, camping, and sailing with his family.
